Menopause is a natural biological process that all women experience at some point in their lives. However, in some cases, these hormones can cause more hair on the face. As a result, some menopausal women develop"peach fuzz"on the face, and small hairs on the chin.


For women undergoing menopause, the causes of hair loss are almost always associated with hormonal changes. However, there are many other factors that can contribute to hair loss during menopause. These include extreme stress,illness or lack of certain nutrients. Diagnostic blood tests that can help rule out other causes of hair loss include thyroid tests and/or complete blood cell counts.


Hair loss can make you feel self-conscious about your appearance, but the condition is not permanent. There are also steps you can take to treat hair loss and improve the quality of your hair. Follow these tips to keep your locks healthy and strong during menopause.


1. Reduce stress

It is important to control stress levels to avoid hormonal imbalances. Decreased estrogen production affects brain chemistry and can cause mood swings,anxiety, and depression. However, yoga and other forms of respiratory relaxation are especially effective in combating menopausal symptoms. Regular exercise can also help reduce stress.



2. Get out of the way.

Exercise is an important part of a healthy lifestyle. If you incorporate exercise into your daily routine you will definitely feel strong and happy. It also helps to prevent some of the other symptoms of menopause,such as mood swings, weight gain and insomnia. All these factors are important for maintaining the hormonal balance that promotes healthy hair growth.


Choose the type of exercise that suits you. You may consider going for a walk with a friend,joining the gym,or running.


3. Eat it right away.

A balanced, low-fat diet is the best defense against hair loss. Add a sufficient amount of whole grains,fruits and vegetables to each meal. It is also important to include mono-saturated oils, such as olive and sesame oil, as part of your diet. Drinking green tea and taking vitamin B6 and folic acid supplements can help restore hair growth. Essential fatty acids also play an important role in maintaining hair health. These fatty acids are found in the following foods:


Salmon

Tuna

Flaxseed Oil

Walnut

Almonds

4. Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate

Your body is hydrated to function properly. Charge water throughout the day and deliver juices,sodas and other flavored drinks that contain more sugar than the body needs. The amount of water required varies from person to person and depends on several factors, such as general health and physical activity intensity. In general,however, you should aim for 8 to 8 oz glasses of water per day.


5. Keep it natural

To avoid dryness and breakage, it is best to stay away from thermal tools such as hair dryers and hair straighteners. Extensions and other styling methods can weaken the hair and cause premature hair loss. If you need to dye your hair,choose a natural hair color. Artificial chemicals in dyes and perms can endanger the health of the scalp and hair. When washing your hair, always use nourishing conditioners that keep your scalp healthy and promote healthy hair growth.

When swimming, you should wear a swimming cap, as goats can contribute to hair breakage. When out in the sun or wind for long periods,it is important to wear a hat to protect your hair from drying out and breaking.

6. Tell your doctor about your medicine

Some medications have side effects that include hair loss. Tell your doctor if you have significant hair loss and think medication may be the cause. Doctors can switch patients to other drugs without side effects. Do not stop taking this medication until you tell your doctor,as this can be dangerous to your health.
